All Physics 550 students should create a BioCore account as soon as possible. After you have created your account, e-mail the 550 TA (gumbart@ks.uiuc.edu) with your name and the user id that you created for yourself during your account set up. Please see the BioCore instructions below for further information.

The VMD tutorial can be viewed online at http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Training/Tutorials/vmd/tutorial-html/index.html.


Our class will be utilizing this semester the software BioCoRE for communication on all matters related to the course. This software has been developed at the University of Illinois for the purpose of scientific collaboration and training.

The link to access the BioCoRE software which contains all the necessary resources ( lectures, homeworks, announcements etc.) is the following:

There you only need your login name and password that you may obtain by following the directions described below.

Our computer laboratory will take place every Wednesday in room 3169 Beckman Institute:
