January 13, 2005:
This semester, we will begin teaching a new, upper-level undergrad, expanded/technically more sophisticated version of the previously (but no longer taught) UIUC P398EMI course (The Physics of Electronic Music/Electronic Musical Instruments) and the currently taught UIUC Physics 199POM course (Freshman "Discovery" Course on The Physics of Music/Musical Instruments).

Thus, the UIUC P498POM course is basically a course on acoustical physics, with an emphasis on the physics associated with any/all music and any/all musical instruments, from A-Z! Should be great fun for everyone - including me!
