Advanced Physics Lab Programs Download Site

First of all, you will need a zip program such as WinZip (download it free) to unzip the program.  Right mouse click to open a pop-up window and select Extract to begin unzipping the program.  

After the successful unzip, you would find a Setup.exe program and other associated files in your folder.  Unless otherwise stated, run or double-click the Setup.exe program to begin the installation program.   Setup program will ask for your desired directory.  After the program is installed, run (or double click) the application program (*.exe) to begin it on your computer.

If there are problems, try download the file again.  Email if the problem persists. 

Physics 301 Fourier Simulation Program (Expt # 10)   (FourierSimulator.zip)

This download kit consists of  Foursim2.001 (949 KB),  Foursim2.002 (164 KB), Foursim2.exe (101 KB) and Setup.exe (458 KB).     

Physics 301 Electronic Charge by Oil Drop Method Analysis Program (Expt # 54)   (Milikan.zip)

This download kit consists of Oildrop3 .001 (949 KB),  Oildrop3.002 (204 KB), Oildrop3.exe (164 KB), Oildrop3.prj (6 KB) and Setup.exe (458 KB).     Your data file, saved on a floppy disk or by other means, should be used to input data into the program.
