Midterm Exam Go to the student gradebook to check and change, if necessary, the time at which you are signed up to take this exam.
The deadline for changing your midterm exam time is 10 pm on Thursday, April 3.

The midterm will cover the material from lectures 1-7,
and a bit of 8 (up to but not including Thermal Radiation); discussions 1-4; Labs 1-2, and Homeworks 1-4 (though HW 4 is not due until a week from Thursday).
NOTE: The topics for 213 have been rearranged a bit (hopefully improving the course overall). However, this means that the past exams are not exactly representative: the most recent ones are a little too easy, and the ones before that included heat engines and Carnot cycles (which we'll get to in a couple weeks), but did not include any of the material on Boltzmann distributions. Therefore, you will need to look at this (particular L7-8 (up to but not including thermal radiation), and HW4) to be prepared. |
