EXCUSED ABSENCES
As a rule of thumb, bring any absence excuses to 231/233 Loomis as soon as you return to class. The deadline for turning in your excuses is Friday, December 4 at noon. Obviously if you are absent the last week of the semester or have not received your excuse from the emergency dean, you should bring your excuse to us as soon as you receive it. Excuses need to be given to us in person. (An EX means that the absence will not count against your grade, but an AB becomes a zero.)

FINAL EXAM
The PHYS 212 combined final exam will be given 1:30-4:30 Monday, December 14. The conflict exam time is 1:30-4:30 Wednesday, December 16. All students are initially signed up to take the combined (Monday) exam. There is an option available (until 10pm on Tuesday, December 1) in the Student Gradebook for students to change to the conflict (Wednesday) exam time.

The online review activities for all three exams are still available from the Practice Exams link

Please see the course description for an explanation of how this course works.  It may seem a bit complicated at first, but all the pieces do work together to enhance understanding.  The course description also gives important details on how to get missed exams, labs & quizzes excused.

PLEASE REGISTER YOUR I>CLICKER IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY

About 1% of the class (11students) have not yet registered.  Once you register your i>clicker, your lecture points will appear in the gradebook on the next upload.

We will be using i>clickers in the lectures this semester. You may register your iclicker by first logging in, and then clicking here.
