On March 31, a problem with the Exam 2 five-choice question "How much
energy is lost to heat, sound and work on the players?" was recognized
and the decision was made to award full credit for that question to
everyone. This is NOT reflected in the "Hour Exam 2 Results by Question"
utility above but only in the (raw and scaled) scores stored in the
gradebook. Students who show less than full credit for this question in
the by-question utility will find their higher point total stored in the
gradebook. (Students who already show full credit for this question in the by-question utility will see their same point total stored in the gradebook.)

After Hour Exam 3 was given but before it was scored, the
three-choice question "If the solid cylinder were replaced by a hoop..."
was recognized as faulty and the decision was made to award everyone
full credit (3 points) for that question. Note that that question is
now marked "discarded" in the "Hour Exam 3 Results by Question" utility
above and credit for it does not appear there. The 3 points for this
question are reflected in the Raw Exam 3 scores that now appear in the
Gradebook and those points were included in the calculation of the
Scaled Exam 3 scores.

you think that any of the "Answer(s) You Marked" as shown on these
"Exam Results by Question" displays do not accurately reflect what
you bubbled in on your answer sheet, send an e-mail message with details on
exam number, question number, and answer letter(s) to chubert@uiuc.edu. Please
include in your message your name and the name of your discussion section --
and an indication that this concerns Physics 211.
