World Wide Web Information:
-
This course uses the WWW for many aspects - lecture notes,
lab handouts, experimental results, homework, gradebook,
references, general course info, notices, etc.
-
If you are not already, you will need to become familiar with getting around on the Web,
and to have access to a fairly recent web browser. This is available on computers at CCSO
and housing division computer sites. Because you are a student, you can also download
Netscape from the Netscape homepage at
http://home.netscape.com/,
or the Microsoft Internet Explorer at
http://www.microsoft.com.
-
You can also find the Physics 199POM home page by starting at the
UIUC Department of Physics home page
(http://web.physics.uiuc.edu/)
and following the
courses
hot link.
