Gradebook Notices

4/21/08: Midterm Exam 3 was rescored at 7am on Monday, April 21, to correct the key used to grade the "If you tap on a half full bottle of water..." question. The above Midterm Exam 3 Results by Question option and the scores now stored in the on-line gradebook reflect the intended correct answer to that question.

3/13/08: Late in the morning of March 13, Midterm Exam 2 was rescored to award credit to everyone for the "What does a heat pump not do?" question. This question is now marked "discarded" in the "Midterm Exam 2 Results by Question" utility above and no one has credit for for it there. The one point for this question was added to everyone's score when the scores were stored in the gradebook. At the same time, the scoring of the "Why can you see your breath on a cold day?" question was redone with the key corrected. Originally, choice "c" was (incorrectly) marked on the key as the correct answer. The actual correct answer and the one used in this rescoring was choice "b".
